Within the
Living in Displaced Sites in the Rub Al Sham Sub-district, Al-Zuhra District, funded by the Humanitarian Fund – Yemen (YHF), and as part of the activity of rehabilitating wells and increasing water systems, the project team and a geological engineer from the Rural Water Projects Authority branch in Hodeidah conducted a field visit on Sunday, October 23rd, 2022, to monitor the rehabilitation of wells, the tower tank, water distribution points and the installation of components of solar pumping units for Shaghlah and Al Hashimiah wells in Rub Al Sham Sub-district, Al Zahra District.
During the visit, the carried-out and ongoing works were checked and matched, in addition to the remaining works, the technical specifications, and the experimental pumping of Shaghlah Well was also checked. Project manager Ahmed Saeed stressed the executing contractor the necessity of completing all the works by the end of this week and stated that the wells should be operated and all the works should be handed over no later than the end of October.
