joint program to support livelihoods, food security, and climate adaptation in Yemen (ERRY III)


In support of rural resilience in Yemen and to assist local communities in rural areas, efforts have been made to promote sustainable development and provide small income-generating projects. This was achieved through implementation of joint program to support livelihoods, food security, and climate adaptation in Yemen (ERRY III) which is funded by European Union in Yemen بعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي في اليمن and Embassy of Sweden in Baghdad through UNDP Yemen and implemented by Life Makers Meeting Place Organization (LMMPO).

A total of 375 projects were distributed in Al-Mahwit Governorate and 375 projects in Al-Hodeidah Governorate. Beneficiaries were trained and empowered to manage these projects, which in turn contribute to improving their living conditions.

Some of these projects include sewing, livestock rearing, beekeeping, phone maintenance and programming, cafés, motorcycles, and etc...
