In support of rural resilience in Yemen and to assist local communities in rural areas, efforts have been made to promote sustainable development and provide small income-generating projects. This was achieved through implementation of joint program to support livelihoods, food security, and climate adaptation in Yemen (ERRY III) which is funded by European Union in Yemen بعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي في اليمن and Embassy of Sweden in Baghdad through UNDP Yemen and implemented by Life Makers Meeting Place Organization (LMMPO).
Distribution of income-generating projects in Al-Hudaydah and Al-Mahwit governorates.
Beneficiaries were trained and empowered to manage projects, which in turn contributed to improving their living conditions.
Some of these projects: selling fish, raising livestock, beekeeping, stone crushers, pastry project, motorcycles, and etc...
