Joint SC-CCCM Advocacy Note on Impact of USG Stop Work Order
This note assesses the consequences of recent U.S. funding changes on Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) and Shelter programming in Yemen. Over 21 million US dollars ($6M for CCCM and $15M for Shelter) has been impacted, severely disrupting critical services for displaced populations.
This project through its interventions and the methodology of performing these interventions, is aligned with the FSAC objectives of the allocation strategy as it is project compiling food security and agriculture activities to be provided to the targeted the most vulnerable population in As-Sukhnah and Az-Zaydia districts and the approach of responding to the vulnerable needs is the first and second objective of this allocation. Furthermore this project will use some two modalities of support food transferred vouchers in As-Sukhnah and emergency livelihood assistant in Az-Zaydia districts in terms of applying two-way reporting and feedback mechanism between the beneficiaries and service providers which is matching with the objectives of food security and Agriculture sector.
